The first official full weekend of action had both the boys and girls programs on the road getting in more work. The boys competed in the West Noble JV Invite, sending eight into action, while the girls had 12 on deck at the Rochester Girls Invite.

Major notes from the weekend including a first for the Wawasee program, as Mattia Melli became the first known Italian-born wrestler to not only win a match for Wawasee, but won his first-ever match in the United States with a second-period pin in his first match as a Warrior. Melli went 3-0 on the day to win his bracket, one of five Warriors to go undefeated on the day in Ligonier. Wawasee went 20-5 overall and were first place in six of their brackets. The girls had three make placement matches at Rochester, led by a 5-1 day from Naviya Leon, who was third at 145 pounds.
