Wawasee wrestling had a big-time weekend. The high school program won its 25th sectional Saturday afternoon at Plymouth, and then the Wawasee club program hosted the Wawasee Folkstyle Open on Sunday.

The bracket-style tournament hosted six age groups – 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U – with a variety of weight classes for competitors from around the area.

The Wawasee Wrestling Club had winners in all six age divisions along with a host of runner-up finishes throughout the day.
