This is our big week for the club! We have events almost every day. Please be sure to ask questions if you have any. The more help we can get from each of you, the smoother this week will go!
Tuesday: Pre-K – 2nd Grade: 5:30 – 6:30PM
3rd Grade – 8th Grade: 6:30 – 8:00PM
Wednesday: Viper Practice: 6:00 – 7:30PM
Thursday: Fairfield Dual @ WMS 5:30 – 8:00PM
Saturday: Tournament Set-up 5:00PM
Weigh-ins 6:00 – 7:00PM
Sunday: Weigh-ins 7:00 – 8:30AM
Tournament Starts ~9:30AM
Wawasee vs Fairfield – Friendly Dual – THIS THURSDAY:
– If your wrestler is planning on wrestling in this dual and I have not gotten their weight, I need that no later than Tuesday night.
– This is an optional event! If you or your wrestler do not feel ready to compete, then please do not force them onto the mat. The time will come for them to be ready.
– The dual will occur at the Wawasee Middle School.
– Warm-ups will start at 5:30PM.
– We will attempt to start wrestling at 6:00PM.
– Wrestlers can wrestle in their shorts/t-shirt. We are not requiring headgear and/or mouthpieces.
Wawasee Folkstyle Tournament – THIS SUNDAY:
– This is our annual tournament and primary fundraiser for the program.
– This is an optional event! If you or your wrestler do not feel ready to compete, then please do not force them onto the mat. The time will come for them to be ready.
– We will need as much parent volunteer help as possible, running concessions and table help.
– We will also need food donations for our hospitality room. You can sign up here: https://volunteersignup.
– This event will require headgear and a mouthpiece. We can provide the headgear for you.
